Ben and Gale Dowding are the Senior Pastors of RPC.

After meeting each other at college in Darlington, they both left the North-East to work with the Pais Project, an international youth and schools work charity.

Working with the Pais Project was originally supposed to be a gap year, however, God seemed to have different ideas!

It was during their first year, working in the West-Midlands that Ben and Gale both felt called to come back to their home church, RPC, and start something great with the youth work of the church.

Over the next 10 years they pioneered and lead Elevate Youth Ministry whilst continuing to work for the Pais Project as National Directors and more recently as part of the Pais Global Leadership.

In January 2007, Ben and Gale became the Associate Ministers of RPC and in September 2008 began as Senior Pastors of our church.

Ben and Gale are both passionate about Richmond and building a relevant, growing, passionate church, seeing the purposes of God fulfilled in this area!

Ben also works for Youth Alive, the Assemblies of God youth department, as a Regional Director, having a voice into youth ministries across the North-East.

Ben and Gale have two young boys, Asher and Noah. Both boys have a passion for mess, toys, sweets and jumping around at the front of church!
